Ayame had surgery because the vet thought she might have eaten string so they had to do exploratory surgury. It turned out she just had a flu thing. so we picked ayame up from the vet today and when we got home i found a bloody wound next to her booty hole. we took her back to the vet and the guy said it was a ruptured abscess. Apparently that was what caused her original illness. So now she is having surgery again and they are going to put a tube in it so the puss and gunk can drain out. I am rather frustrated with the level of incompetence of my local vet. what i cant believe is how they didn't find the abscess when they did the first unnecessary surgery.
